Oh Spring, how I've missed you!

I personally never realized how incredible Spring is...I was in such a haze from drinking so much that I never cared to look around me and notice the little things. When I was in rehab, a counselor gave us all packets of seeds to plant. Within 3-5 months, I have an abundance of purple Phlox, sunflowers, tall and small and a mix of wild flowers.

My garden was looking amazing and brand new!

This brings me to talk about myself. As an addict, I always felt helpless like I couldn't get out of this fog. I was going in circles, trapped in my own mind. Spring was the first time I had been sober three months and just like the flowers I planted, I felt new and alive myself. No matter how bad things have gotten, reset your peace and start again. Spring is often associated with themes of renewal, rebirth, and the beginning of new growth in the natural world.

“Don't leave 5 mins before the miracle happens.”

Spring arrives as a gentle awakening, a vital season where the Earth breathes anew. The slumber of winter gives way to a vibrant resurgence, with sunlight coaxing forth emerald shoots and blossoms painting the landscape with delicate hues. It's a time of ecological renewal, fueling life's cycles and laying the foundation for abundance. Symbolically, spring whispers of fresh starts and boundless potential, mirroring our own capacity for growth and resilience after periods of dormancy. This cherished season embodies hope and the joyful promise of brighter days, a beautiful reminder of nature's enduring power to inspire and uplift.
